Imperial Distillery is one of Speyside’s great silent stills — closed, quiet, and increasingly rare. Finding a bottle of Imperial at any age is a genuine discovery. Finding one this considered is something else entirely.
This 26 year old expression is part of the Single Malts of Scotland Marriage series — a rare union of three individual 1995 Imperial distillates, each matured separately in American oak refill barrels before being married together into something greater than the sum of its parts. Over two and a half decades, those casks have drawn out a complexity and character that defines what great Speyside whisky can be at its most rewarding. Presented in a distinctive box and bottled at 44.8% ABV — enough strength to carry the full depth of what twenty-six years of maturation has produced.
