The makers behind our hampers
Meet Our Scottish Food & Drink Producers
From Highland charcuterie and island biscuits to Borders baking and single malt whisky, discover seven of the producers and brands featured in our range.
At Scottish Hampers, we bring these flavours together in gifts hand-packed in Scotland. Meet the makers, explore their specialities and find something your recipient will love.
Scottish produce with a story to share
A good hamper is a collection of flavours that belong together. We look for distinctive products, a sense of place and the pleasure of sharing something delicious. That might mean a familiar box of tablet, a cheese with Highland roots or a biscuit baked on the Isle of Mull.
Our selection brings together family producers and established names. As a family-run business since 1999, we take care over how those products come together as a gift. Scottish food sits at the heart of the range, alongside selected accompaniments from further afield.
Choose a ready-made hamper or use our build-your-own hamper guide to plan a personal selection. Check each product listing for its current contents and availability.
Scottish charcuterie
Great Glen Charcuterie
Spean Bridge · Scottish Highlands
Great Glen brings the flavours of the Highlands to the charcuterie board. Founded by Jan Jacob and Anja Baak in Spean Bridge, this family business grew from experiments in a garden smoker into a specialist producer known for its use of wild Scottish venison.
Its cured meats make a savoury centrepiece alongside cheese, oatcakes and chutney. Our range includes pork and venison salami and venison chorizo, giving you different ways to add a Highland flavour to a gift. The pork and venison salami combines both meats; it is a different product from Great Glen’s pure venison specialities.
Artisan Scottish cheese
Highland Fine Cheeses
Tain · Scottish Highlands
Made in Tain, Highland Fine Cheeses offers a distinctive range of artisan Scottish cheeses. From the blue veins of Strathdon Blue to the oatmeal coating of Caboc, these are cheeses with their own character and a strong connection to the Highlands.
Our selection includes Strathdon Blue, Caboc, Black Crowdie and Minger. Choose a familiar favourite or introduce someone to a cheese they have yet to try. With oatcakes and a jar of chutney, they make the foundations of a generous cheeseboard and a thoughtful gift for someone who enjoys exploring Scottish food.
Organic biscuits & savoury baking
Island Bakery
Tobermory · Isle of Mull
Island Bakery’s story began with Joe and Dawn Reade’s bakery in Tobermory in 1994. Their organic biscuit range followed in 2001, bringing a taste of the Isle of Mull to biscuit tins well beyond the island. The bakery uses locally generated renewable energy, including wood-fired ovens.
There is a place for both sides of the range in a hamper: sweet biscuits for a cup of tea, and savoury cheese biscuits for an evening cheeseboard. Our selection includes Lemon Melts, shortbread and onion and thyme cheese biscuits. Choose the flavours that suit your recipient, whether they prefer a sweet treat or a savoury nibble.
Traditional Scottish baking
Alex Dalgetty & Sons
Galashiels · Scottish Borders
Alex Dalgetty & Sons brings five generations of family baking to our selection. Based in the Scottish Borders, the bakery is known for traditional recipes, including Selkirk bannock, shortbread and Scotch black bun. Its story gives a delicious introduction to a part of Scotland with a baking heritage of its own.
Our Scotch Black Bun is a rich fruit bake enclosed in pastry, with sultanas and currants at its heart. Traditionally associated with Hogmanay, it is also a lovely choice for anyone who enjoys Scottish baking throughout the year. Slice it to share over tea, or add it to a hamper for someone who appreciates a traditional favourite.
Scottish tablet, fudge & macaroon
Mrs Tilly’s
Larbert · Central Scotland
Mrs Tilly’s has been making Scottish confectionery since 1997. Based in Larbert, close to our own Grangemouth home, the business is known for tablet, fudge and macaroon: familiar Scottish treats that work beautifully as little gifts or as part of a larger hamper.
Tablet offers a crumbly, sugary bite, while fudge has a softer texture. Our range includes gift boxes of both, as well as macaroon bars, so there is room to choose a favourite or introduce someone to a Scottish classic. These are easy additions to an afternoon tea gift, a sweet selection or a thank-you hamper.
COCO chocolateChocolate, art & contemporary flavours
COCO Chocolatier
Edinburgh · Scotland
COCO Chocolatier combines chocolate making with contemporary art. Its chocolate journey begins at origin before the team in Edinburgh transforms it into the finished products, with striking artwork giving the packaging a character of its own. COCO is part of Made Uncommon, the group behind several distinctive chocolate brands.
For a gift, that combination of flavour and presentation matters. Our COCO range includes orange milk chocolate, cinnamon roll milk chocolate and Black Forest dark chocolate, alongside drinking chocolate and a dedicated COCO collection. Choose a bar to complement a larger hamper or explore a gift that puts chocolate at the centre.
Whisky for a special occasion
The Macallan
Scotland · Single malt whisky
The Macallan adds a celebrated single malt whisky name to our food and drink selection. With a history dating to 1824, its story centres on the relationship between oak, spirit and time. Our range includes Double Cask and Sherry Oak expressions, offering different choices for the whisky enthusiast.
For a milestone birthday, retirement or a special thank-you, a whisky hamper brings the bottle together with food to enjoy. The Macallan 18 Prestige Scottish Hamper is one example from our collection.
