Perfect Porridge

 

You'll need:

2 tablespoon Scottish Bee Company honey

2 tablespoons wheat or bran flakes

½ pint almond milk

6 tablespoons porridge oats

2 tablespoons chopped nuts

2 tablespoons raisins

 

Method:

For our perfect porridge, we at the Scottish Bee Company love this recipe. We use Scottish bee company Scottish blossom honey Combine together the milk and honey. 

Add the liquid to all the other ingredients and mix thoroughly. This is delicious, served topped with sliced fruit of your choice. A delicious breakfast that will keep you satisfied all morning. Porridge really is the most wonderful way to start the day. It leaves you feeling warm inside and full of energy for the day. Scottish oats combined with Scottish Honey are truly fantastic. Enjoy while reading the paper with a lovely cup of coffee or a breakfast tea. Or for those of you with little ones, eat it while standing so your kids don’t get their mucky hands in the bowl Another way to have this perfect porridge is cold as a Bircher Muesli. This involves mixing all the ingredients together and leaving it in the fridge overnight. Its a much lighter way to eat it and the soaking allows the food to be broken down before it is consumed making it easier to digest in the morning.
